The Business Development Manager will drive revenue growth, patient acquisition, and strategic partnerships across the hospital\'s network. The role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, expanding referral and corporate relationships, and leading initiatives that strengthen the hospital\'s market presence and commercial performance.
Requirements:
Bachelor\'s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years\' experience in Business Development, Sales, Account Management, or a related role.
Experience within healthcare, insurance,or other service-oriented industries is preferred.
Proven ability to build strategic partnerships, drive revenue growth, and lead high-performing teams.
Strong communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
Key responsibilities:
Business Growth & Market Development
Develop and execute business development strategies that support revenue growth and market expansion.
Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and service offerings based on market trends and customer needs.
Monitor industry developments and competitor activities, providing recommendations to improve market positioning.
Corporate Partnerships & Client Management
Build and manage relationships with corporate organizations, government agencies, HMOs, NGOs, schools, and other strategic stakeholders.
Negotiate and secure corporate partnerships, service agreements, and business opportunities.
Conduct regular client engagement activities to enhance satisfaction, retention, and account growth.
Patient Acquisition & Referral Development
Drive initiatives that increase patient volumes and utilization of hospital services.
Develop and strengthen referral networks with hospitals, clinics, physicians, pharmacies, and diagnostic centres.
Promote specialized and core healthcare services to target audiences and referral partners.
Team Leadership & Performance Management
Lead, coach, and mentor Business Development Officers to achieve departmental objectives.
Set performance targets, monitor KPIs, and ensure effective execution of business development activities.
Prepare and present periodic performance reports, insights, and recommendations to management.
