About the Role

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and increasing sales of your company's products.
  • Reaching the targets and goals set for designated areas.
  • Establishing, maintaining and expanding customer base in designated area.
  • Servicing the needs of existing customers.
  • Setting sales targets for individual reps and unit teams.
  • Monitoring your team's performance and motivating them to reach targets.
  • Assessing costs, competition, and supply and demand to identify selling prices.
  • Increasing business opportunities through various routes to market.
  • Establishing a sales training program to train new sales reps.
  • Perform any other duties as required

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years' sales experience, preferably in manufacturing, packaging, FMCG, or a related industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong experience in key account management, business development, and territory management.
  • Good understanding of the PET preforms, cap, beverage, food, or packaging market is an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.

MARKET INTELLIGENCE, REPORTING AND COMPLIANCE Collect and submit verified market intelligence on competitor pricing, promotions, new products, distribution, trade margins and customer feedback. Submit complete and accurate daily, weekly and monthly reports within agreed timelines, including MTD performance and recovery plans for gaps.
