Job Summary

  • Pearl Hospital is a Level 4 multi-specialty hospital in Laikipia County. Guided by our values of Quality, Efficiency, Professionalism, and Compassion, we are seeking an Accounting Intern to support the Finance department in daily accounting and administrative tasks. This role provides hands-on experience in financial record keeping, reporting and compliance while developing practical accounting skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in recording financial transactions in accounting systems.
  • Support preparation of invoices, receipts and payment vouchers.
  • Help with data entry and filing of financial documents.
  • Maintain organized and accurate accounting records.
  • Assist during audits and stock taking exercises.
  • Assist in bank reconciliations and petty cash management.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree recent graduate in Accounting OR a CPA Certificate
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other computer applications.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
