Duties And Responsibilities
Teaching Cyber Security & Forensics units allocated by the Head of Department.
Designing, developing, planning, and delivering a range of programmes of study, sometimes for entirely new courses at various levels.
Delivering highquality lectures.
Reviewing course content and materials on a regular basis, updating when required.
Collaborating with academic colleagues on course development, curriculum changes, and the development of research activities.
Carrying out research and writing research grant proposals.
Seeking and participating in consultancies.
Presenting research papers at national or international conferences and similar events.
Disseminating research outputs.
Providing mentorship and career guidance to students and staff.
Any other duty that may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor.Qualification And Experience
Qualification And Experience
A minimum of a relevant PhD, Master’s, and Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security/Forensics or a relevant field from an accredited and recognised university.
At least three (3) years of teaching/research experience at the university level as a Lecturer/Research (adsbygoogle=window.adsbygoogle||[]).push({});Fellow.
Evidence of publications as a Lecturer/Research Fellow.
Demonstrable leadership and administrative experience; experience as a Senior Lecturer, programme leader, postgraduate coordinator, or other relevant management role will be highly considered.
Supervised at least two (2) postgraduate students to completion.
Attracted research funds.
Evidence of attending and contributing at academic conferences, seminars, and workshops.
A technological visionary with agility to lead the school to stay relevant in rapidly changing technological landscapes.
Demonstrable skills as a strategic leader who bridges academia and industry, focusing on sustainable growth and marketdriven educational value.
Up to date with industry standards and established noteworthy linkages with industry.
