Responsibilty

• Prevent equipment defects and verify exact manufacturer product specifications across all well operations tools, tubulars, and fittings.
• Conduct QAQC audits on third-party service equipment prior to mobilization.
• Work closely with Petroleum, Production, logistics and warehouse and Operations to track materials specification and well performance and continually optimize well design.
• Formulate and enforce strict Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), track material certifications, and manage document control protocols to mitigate downhole tool failures.
• Liaise with logistics, warehousing, and well operations teams to track material specifications against engineering well design criteria.
• Coordinate, material certification and implement well programs (completion, workover, slickline, wellhead, coiled tubing, E-line, fishing, etc.) and End of Well Reports prepared by Completions/WO Engineers.
• Demonstrate safety leadership. Ensure that Well Completion, Re-completion, Workover, Plug and Abandonment programs are implemented in compliance with Company's EHS policies and regulations, and that contractors are supervised and motivated to perform jobs with high technical and EHS standards.
• Participate in compiling the well risk register and well barrier review.
• Coordinate and verify in advance the availability of all surface and downhole equipment as per the work program (type, specification, quality, quantity) to meet objectives.
• Provide technical expertise to troubleshoot major operational problems, such as fishing, kicks, or serious accidents that may occur during operations.
• Ensure effective EHS compliance and policies of the Company during well engineering planning and execution.
• Mentor and coach junior colleagues in all aspects of well intervention engineering, complet.

Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree / HND in Petroleum, Mechanical, or Metallurgical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• M.Sc in petroleum / geology or a related engineering field is preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience spanning both office based engineering and active field supervisory positions. A minimum of 5 years dedicated to complex, high-risk drilling environments is preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of API, ISO, and ASME standards; proficiency in VT (Visual Testing), NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) methodologies, SIT (System Integration Testing), welding surveillance, and inventory software.

Certifications:

• Valid BOSIET (Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training)
• IWCF (International Well Control Forum) or IADC Well Cap Level 4 certification, renewed every two years.
