Weigher Dispenser

• This role is essential for keeping production operations running smoothly.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Operate forklift as per work instruction WI-SHEMS-1
• Loading from the warehouse to 3rd party warehouses and production areas/ waste areas and offloading of stock to the warehouse.
• Transportation of stock/consumables
• Housekeeping / 5S on site.
• General tasks when required
• Loading of production stock onto Depalletizer and removal of product from palletizer to finished goods areas
• Stock centralization at the warehouse
• Stock verification for stock take preparation as required
• Ensure safety of equipment, fellow workers, products and property .
• Ensure daily return of returnable materials and return of reject materials within 5 working days as per the SOP
• Participate on stock take and cycle counts.
• Participate on MECP activities
• Housekeeping and 5S

WHAT YOU WILL BE MEASURED ON:

• Conforming materials are received
• Housekeeping and stock record accuracy.
• Reliable oracle records for MRP run.
• No material damage
• Stock record accuracy
• MECP/ 5S's roll-out

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Matric/ grade 12 (Mathematics and Physical Science - desired
• 1 year in a manufacturing environment (preferably FMCG)
• Valid Forklift Drivers licence
