A well-established organisation is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Supervisor to oversee finished goods warehouse operations and ensure efficient storage, accurate inventory control and timely dispatch.
This is a hands-on supervisory role suited to someone who can lead a team, maintain high operational standards and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch.
Ensure accurate and timely order fulfilment.
Maintain stock accuracy through cycle counts, audits and effective inventory controls.
Lead, coach and manage warehouse staff to achieve operational targets.
Ensure compliance with health, safety and warehouse procedures, including FIFO.
Monitor operational KPIs and identify opportunities for process improvement.
Utilise WMS/ERP systems for reporting, stock control and operational management.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient warehouse operations.
Requirements
Three-year tertiary qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or a related field.
3 - 5 years' warehouse experience, preferably within FMCG.
1 - 2 years' supervisory experience in a warehouse environment.
Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
Excellent organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail with the ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in WMS/ERP systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central would be advantageous.
Advanced Excel skills.
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, health and safety.
Demonstrated ability to improve inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
