Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised, experienced, and results-oriented Warehouse Manager to oversee the overall operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient storage, inventory management, order processing, and distribution of goods. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimising warehouse operations, maintaining accurate inventory records, managing warehouse personnel, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and distribution of goods.
Develop and implement warehouse policies, procedures, and operational standards to enhance efficiency.
Manage inventory control processes, ensuring accurate stock records and optimal stock levels.
Coordinate regular stocktaking, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation exercises.
Monitor warehouse performance and implement strategies to improve productivity and operational efficiency.
Supervise, train, and evaluate warehouse personnel to ensure effective team performance.
Ensure proper storage, handling, preservation, and security of inventory.
Coordinate with procurement, supply chain, sales, and logistics teams to ensure timely availability and movement of goods.
Monitor warehouse costs, resource utilisation, and operational budgets.
Ensure timely processing of customer orders and accurate dispatch of goods.
Implement effective systems for tracking stock movements, losses, damages, and inventory discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, fire safety standards, and company policies.
Identify operational risks and implement appropriate corrective and preventive measures.
Prepare and submit periodic warehouse performance, inventory, and operational reports.
