SUMMARY

Our client, a growing solar equipment wholesaler and technical training centre in Lagos, is seeking a highly organised and hands-on Warehouse Lead to oversee its warehouse, inventory, logistics, and operational activities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate stock control, timely order fulfilment, efficient logistics coordination, safe handling of equipment, and effective support for the organisation's training centre operations

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Warehouse & Inventory Management

  • Oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch
  • Implement and maintain accurate inventory control systems
  • Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies
  • Ensure correct handling and storage of solar modules, batteries, inverters, and accessories
  • Maintain clear labelling, layout, and housekeeping standards

Logistics & Supply Chain Coordination

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics with suppliers, freight partners, and customers
  • Manage delivery schedules and ensure timely order fulfilment
  • Support importation, documentation, and coordination with clearing agents where required
  • Monitor logistics costs and support efficiency improvements

Operational Support & Process Improvement

  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse and operations
  • Improve operational workflows to support business growth and scalability
  • Support coordination between sales, technical, and training teams
  • Track operational KPIs and provide regular reports to management

Training Centre & Workshop Support

  • Ensure availability and readiness of equipment and materials for training programmes
  • Support setup, breakdown, and logistics for practical training sessions
  • Coordinate shared use of tools, equipment, and training assets
  • Maintain training workshop safety, cleanliness, and organisation

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Enforce health, safety, and safe-handling procedures within the warehouse and workshops
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant Nigerian regulations
  • Conduct safety briefings and incident reporting where necessary

Team Leadership & Supervision

  • Supervise warehouse and operations staff
  • Support recruitment, training, and performance management of operations personnel
  • Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS/BACKGROUND

  • HND or Bachelor\'s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in warehouse, logistics, or operations roles
  • Proven experience managing inventory and warehouse teams
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Basic computer literacy, including inventory systems, spreadsheets, and reporting

Added Advantage:

  • Experience in solar, electrical, construction, or technical equipment sectors
  • Experience supporting training centres or workshop environments
  • Knowledge of importation, clearing, and Nigerian logistics processes
  • Familiarity with health and safety standards for electrical or technical equipment

Warehouse Facility Manager

About the role The Warehouse Facility Manager is the primary custodian of Sun King's warehouse physical environment, ensure operational readiness, safety compliance, lease adherence, security, asset management, and sustainability of the warehouse facility. The role holder ensures the warehouse meets all operational, regulatory, and organisational standards, enabling the warehouse team to execute daily activities without physical or environmental interruption. What you would be expected to do Facility Operations & Vendor Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse facility ensuring all services (utilities, security, maintenance, HVAC, racking, mechanical systems) function optimally and any service failures are resolved without delay. Coordinate with approved service providers for the maintenance of all utilities (electricity, water, internet) and infrastructure; manage vendor performance against SLAs and escalate underperformance. Conduct and document periodic facility inspection walkthroughs; identify defects, safety hazards, and maintenance needs and initiate corrective actions before they impact warehouse operations. Maintain a comprehensive facility maintenance register recording all completed, pending, and scheduled works updated continuously and reviewed with the Warehouse Supervisor monthly.
