The Application Visa Officer will be responsible for managing visa applications from start to finish. This includes gathering documents, reviewing application forms for accuracy, conducting research, communicating with clients, and ensuring all submissions meet the required immigration standards.
The ideal candidate must be diligent, analytical, and able to manage multiple cases at once.
Key Responsibilities
Application Management:
Prepare, review, and complete visa application forms with accuracy.
Request, organise, and verify supporting documents from clients.
Ensure all documents meet the specific requirements of each visa category.
Track application stages, deadlines, and submission timelines.
Client Communication:
Maintain professional communication with clients throughout the application process.
Provide clear instructions and guidance to clients on required documents.
Follow up with clients for pending information and updates.
Research & Compliance:
Conduct basic research on visa requirements for different countries.
Ensure applications comply with official immigration rules and guidelines.
Stay updated with policy changes and documentation requirements.
Internal Coordination:
Work closely with the Application Team Lead and other departments.
Maintain organised digital and physical files.
Support quality checks and internal audits of applications.
Requirements
Degree in International Relations, Social Sciences, or related fields
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
Good writing and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Experience in immigration services, documentation, admin, research, or customer service is an added advantage.
High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
