Key Duties & Responsibilities
Work closely with sales team on customer requirements and product availability
Coordinate with Customer Service Representatives and Sales Team on delivery schedules
Review and approve customer orders; plan and accomplish deliveries within timelines
Coordinate logistics for market returns to maintain good trade relations and minimize losses
Manage customer orders for special products and crossborder shipments
Handle public relations and customer service for walkin clients at the plant
Ensure overall process ownership for Proof of Delivery (POD) to prevent revenue lossFleet Management
Ensure timely maintenance of company trucks to minimize downtime
Enforce adherence to maintenance schedules and roadworthiness for thirdparty transporters
Manage availability of company and hired vehicles to meet delivery requirements
Implement performance targets for fleet utilization, fuel consumption, and maintenanceLogistics Management
Develop and implement distribution strategies to optimize flow of goods and costs
Coordinate interplant transfers and stock allocation daily to balance availability
Plan trucks for byproducts logistics with warehouse team to avoid operational interruptionsCompliance
Ensure compliance with county distribution licenses across all delivery regions
Verify statutory and regulatory requirements (adsbygoogle=window.adsbygoogle||[]).push({});for distributed products and permits
Enforce road discipline and adherence to rules by distribution assistants
Ensure trucks are inspection and insurance compliantPeople Management & Capacity Building
Develop, motivate, and direct staff for excellent delivery service
Conduct monthly performance reviews for distribution team
Offer coaching and mentoring to employees
Conduct facetoface sessions and close identified actions timely
Prepare and implement employee development plans with HRBP
Train and review employee skill levels; address gaps through TWIJob Requirements
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, or related field
Minimum 5 years’ experience in warehouse, fleet operations, and logistics management (3 years supervisory/managerial level)
Computer proficiency, especially Microsoft Excel
Strong presentation, administrative writing, and reporting skills
Working knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, and distribution management
