Key Duties and Responsibilities
Record and coordinate dispatch of all deliveries, including Finished Goods, Byproducts, and Interplant Transfers.
Issue vehicle inspection sheets and tally sheets to Security and UL Tally Clerks prior to loading.
Maintain a registry of vehicles, physical allocation, and daily trips.
Validate and reconcile Proof of Delivery (POD) copies, escalate customer claims, and file PODs daily.
Keep custody of delivery pink copies for transporters and issue them for payment upon validation.
Update Excel register daily for all trucks dispatched, track turnaround time (TAT) for PODs, and escalate noncompliance.
Ensure proper filing of PODs and IPT billing documents.
Manage trucks and drivers according to loading requirements and allocations.
Ensure drivers are present at the loading bay when required.
Report discrepancies between invoices/delivery notes and tally sheets to the Distribution Supervisor.
Collaborate with the Weighbridge Clerk to improve customer turnaround time.
Ensure drivers are issued with all relevant documentation before dispatch.
Verify trucks carry acceptable tonnage as per capacity.
Orient new drivers on company procedures and proper handling of dispatch documents.PaTaMu, Safety, Health and Environment, Food Safety & ERM
Actively participate in 6K, CI, SHE, FSMS, GMP, PaTaMu, and ERM activities.
Identify and report quality, food (adsbygoogle=window.adsbygoogle||[]).push({});safety, SHE, and ERM issues during daily operations.
Participate in Root Cause Analysis for missed targets and close improvement actions.
Support timely closure of actions relating to PaTaMu, SHE, FSMS, and ERM.
Participate in safety toolbox sessions and training.
Spot hazards and ensure closure of potential risks within required timelines.Minimum Requirements
Minimum Requirements
Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
Minimum of 1 year’s experience in FMCG.
Computer proficiency, especially with Microsoft Excel.
