We are seeking a strategic, forward thinking, industry connected, and student centric Tutorial Fellow with entrepreneurial acumen to foster teaching, research and innovation ecosystems. The ideal candidate has demonstrated the capability to bridge and academia and grow graduate employability while ensuring sustainability.
Duties and responsibilities
- To teach Pharmacy Units allocated by the Head of Department.
- Designing, developing, planning and delivering a range of programmes of study, sometimes for entirely new courses at various levels.
- Delivering high-quality lectures and practical sessions.
- Assess student performance through examinations, objective structured clinical examinations (OSCEs), coursework, and practical evaluations.
- Supervise student research projects, dissertations, and clinical placements.
- Reviewing pharmacy course content and materials on a regular basis, updating when required.
- Collaborating with academic colleagues on course development, curriculum changes and the development of research activities.
- Carrying out research and writing research grant proposals.
- Seeking and participating in consultancies.
- Dissemination of research findings at national or international conferences, scientific symposiums and webinars.
- Providing mentorship and career guidance to students and staff.

qualification and experience
Tutorial Fellows/lecturers(Pharmaceutics ) (3 Positions)
- Minimum of a Masters degree in Pharmaceutics /Industrial Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Technology from an accredited/ recognized University.?
- Hold a minimum of Masters degree in either of the five areas of specialization as indicated above.
- Hold a Bachelor degree in Pharmacy from an accredited/ recognized University.
- At least three (3) years of post-qualification work experience.
- Valid Pharmacy and Poisons Board Practice License
