Job Summary

  • Sayed Farms Limited is seeking an experienced and responsible Truck Driver to join our team in Lekki, Lagos.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of company goods, materials, and products while ensuring compliance with road safety and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate company trucks for the transportation and delivery of goods and materials.
  • Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any defects promptly.
  • Ensure the safe handling and proper documentation of goods during loading, transportation, and delivery.
  • Adhere to assigned routes, delivery schedules, and traffic regulations.
  • Maintain accurate trip, delivery, fuel, and vehicle records.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and proper condition of the assigned truck.
  • Report accidents, breakdowns, delays, or other incidents immediately to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Comply with all Company policies, road safety requirements, and operational procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a truck/heavy-duty vehicle driver.
  • Valid Nigeria driver's licence appropriate for the vehicle category.
  • Valid LASDRI certification/permit will be an added advantage.
  • Good knowledge of Lagos and surrounding routes, particularly Lekki and its environs.
  • Proven record of safe driving and responsible vehicle handling.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and meet delivery schedules.
  • Good communication, reliability, and discipline.
  • Experience in logistics, FMCG, agriculture, or related industries is an added advantage.
