What you could be involved in
As a Merchandise Trainee, you may have the opportunity to:
- Support Buying or Planning teams with day-to-day category activities.
- Learn about product ranges, customer trends and retail trading.
- Assist with analysing sales, stock, margin and product-performance information.
- Support range reviews, product selection, demand forecasting and stock-flow activities.
- Work closely with Buyers, Planners, suppliers and other cross-functional teams.
- Build your understanding of retail commercial processes and develop towards a career in Buying or Merchandise Planning.
