Recognized swimming instruction qualification.
Current First Aid and CPR certification.
Valid Lifeguarding or Water Rescue certification.
Minimum two (2) years of experience teaching swimming to children.
Strong pool safety management skills.
Demonstrated commitment to child safeguarding and learner welfare.
Ability to coach beginner to intermediate swimmers effectively.
Strong understanding of swimming techniques, water confidence development and aquatic skills progression.
Ability to supervise and manage learners safely in aquatic environments.

TSC registration is mandatory for TSC-regulated teaching positions.
Demonstrated digital literacy skills.
Strong communication skills in both English and Kiswahili.
Familiarity with the Competency-Based Education (CBE) curriculum.
Strong safeguarding and child protection ethos.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic learning environment.
