Job Summary

  • We are seeking driven, commercially minded, and target-oriented professionals to join our Operations Team as Territory Development Officers (TDOs).

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research and identify business and customer opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Identify and map 3-wheeler/tricycle parks, operators, business clusters, and potential customers.
  • Generate, qualify, and manage a strong pipeline of prospective asset-finance customers.
  • Build and maintain a minimum pipeline of 100 leads, including at least 30 hot leads.
  • Drive new client acquisition and achieve monthly sales and disbursement targets.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers, operators, merchants, and other key stakeholders.
  • Monitor competitor pricing, repayment terms, promotions, and market activities.
  • Ensure accurate customer information and compliance with KYC/documentation requirements.
  • Collaborate with Credit, Collections, Operations, and Marketing teams to support the customer journey.
  • Submit accurate daily and weekly field activity, sales, and market intelligence reports.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or a related field is an advantage.
  • 2 - 5 years' experience in field sales, business development, microfinance, asset finance, lending, or a related sector.
  • Proven ability to prospect, generate leads, manage sales pipelines, and close deals.
  • Strong knowledge of local market dynamics and territory-based sales.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
  • Highly target-driven, resilient, proactive, and self-motivated.
  • Basic proficiency with CRM tools, mobile applications, and digital reporting platforms.
  • Ability and willingness to work extensively in the field.

Purpose of the Role The Credit Officer is responsible for assessing new financing applicants using information obtained from the Territory Development Officers (TDOs) following a strict and prescribed credit assessment process. This role is analytical, requiring strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and consistent achievement of daily and weekly credit application targets. Key Responsibilities Creditworthiness Assessment: Assess client income, expenditure patterns, savings, employment stability, financial behaviour, character, personality, risk profile, criminal check, and overall repayment capacity.
