Requirements for Appointment:

• A Diploma in the relevant area of specialization from a recognized and accredited institution with at least one (1) year relevant work experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collecting and preparing teaching materials;
• Conducting laboratory practical's and demonstrations to undergraduates;
• Participating in research activities in the laboratory;
• Ensuring that laboratory ware including chemicals, glass and plastic ware and equipment are kept in good order;
• Ensuring that laboratory and workshops are kept clean and tidy;
• Keeping and maintaining laboratory records;
• Receiving, processing and analyzing samples;
• Ensuring safe use and disposal of chemicals and laboratory waste; and
• General laboratory routine.
