Technical Sales Intern At Cerium Chemicals Ltd

Cerium Chemicals Ltd is a growing chemical raw-materials distribution company serving the personal care and homecare industries. We are looking for a proactive, commercially minded and technically oriented Technical Sales Intern to support our sales and business development activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new customers and business opportunities.
• Generate leads through prospecting, networking, market research, digital platforms and customer visits.
• Conduct regular customer visits and sales calls.
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Understand customer formulation and production needs and recommend suitable raw-material solutions.
• Support product presentations and provide basic technical and application information.
• Coordinate samples, product trials, quotations and customer follow-ups.
• Support cross-selling, upselling and introduction of new products to existing customers.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing and customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate customer and sales information in the CRM system.
• Assist with sales reports, pipeline management and sales forecasts.
• Work with Procurement, Warehouse, Finance and other teams to support excellent customer service and timely order fulfillment.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Cosmetic Science, or a related field.
• Chemistry-related academic background is mandatory.
• Interest in technical sales, business development, chemicals, raw materials, cosmetics, personal care or homecare.
• Strong communication, presentation and customer relationship skills.
• Commercially minded, proactive, self-driven and target-oriented.
• Ability to understand technical products and translate customer requirements into practical solutions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn CRM systems.
• Willingness to travel regularly for customer visits.
• Recent graduates and candidates eligible for internships are encouraged to apply.

Added Advantage

• Knowledge or exposure to cosmetic/personal care formulation, homecare products, laboratory work, R&D or chemical raw materials will be an advantage.
