My client based in Midrand is currently looking for a Technical Enterprise Architect to join their team on a contract basis.

Responsibilities
Lead architecture design reviews, establish standards and ensure compliance with approved designs.
Govern cross-platform architecture decisions, technical exceptions, risks, technical debt and design documentation.
Ensure alignment between OT devices, applications, IoT platforms, APIs, Kafka, SAP and enterprise integration systems.
Coordinate technical teams, suppliers and stakeholders to resolve cross-platform issues and integration challenges.
Oversee network connectivity, security configurations, interfaces, certificates, firewall rules and environment settings.
Coordinate monitoring, incident management, cybersecurity testing, vulnerability remediation and disaster recovery testing.
Assess solution designs for security, performance, availability, capacity, data integrity and operational support.
Maintain accurate architecture records, technical documentation, troubleshooting guides and operational runbooks.
Ensure production readiness, service continuity and a smooth transition into operational support.
Qualifications & Experience
Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or an equivalent field.
TOGAF 9 or higher certification.
5-8+ years of relevant experience in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture or technical solution delivery.
Senior experience leading large, multi-vendor, multi-technology programmes from design through implementation, commissioning and operational handover.
Strong technical experience in infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise integration, networking and IT/OT environments.
CCIE-level expertise or equivalent experience.
