Teacher Of English - Primary School

A primary school is seeking an experienced English Teacher to develop learners’ reading, writing, speaking and listening skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum.
• Assess learners’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Support learners with different abilities and learning needs.
• Maintain lesson plans, assessment records and progress reports.
• Promote positive classroom behaviour and a safe learning environment.
• Participate in school activities and communicate with parents on learners’ progress.

Requirements

• A recognised teaching qualification relevant to primary education.
• At least three years’ experience teaching English in a primary school.
• TSC registration.
• Strong spoken and written English.
• Effective classroom management and communication skills.
• Commitment to learner welfare and child safeguarding.
