We are looking for a detail-oriented and safety-focused Tank Farm Operator to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the safe, efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of petroleum products (ATK, AGO, and PMS) while maintaining strict adherence to quality and environmental standards.
- Terminal Operations: Execute daily tank farm operations, including taking early morning dips, handling product receipts and discharges, and loading bowsers within efficiency targets (under 30 minutes per bowser; truck discharge under 45 minutes).
- Quality & Safety Assurance: Perform daily routine drains of aviation storage tanks and filter vessels, conduct required quality checks, and maintain 100% compliance with safety regulations and zero product spillage.
- Inventory & Reporting: Maintain accurate daily stock reports, update inventory reconciliation templates, and track account balances for AGO and PMS usage.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: A University degree in an Engineering or Science discipline.
- Experience: 2 to 4 years of relevant operational experience in a similar terminal or tank farm environment.
- Core Competencies: Strong analytical thinking, effective communication, and demonstrated leadership skills.
- Position involves exposure to petroleum vapors and potential extended work hours.
- May occasionally require managing high-pressure or stressful operational conversations.
