Job Title: Talo Operator
Location: Apapa, Lagos
Job Summary
Operate Talo clarification equipment via the Distributed Control System (DCS) to purify liquor, while conducting periodic field inspections to monitor equipment performance and verify operational status in real time.
Job Responsibilities
Ensure that all Talo clarification equipment and associated machinery are maintained in good working condition.
Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure efficient operations and achieve optimal production results.
Operate and monitor Talo clarification equipment, including clarifiers, pumps, blowers, and Drum Bed Filters (DBF).
Promptly report equipment faults and malfunctions to the maintenance team for timely resolution.
Adhere to established refinery safety procedures and protocols.
Implement and comply with Food Safety System Certification (FSSC) requirements and Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS) on the production line.
Qualifications
Minimum of Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE).
An OND or other higher qualification in Engineering or a related discipline will be an added advantage.
Competencies:
Good knowledge of DCS operation/troubleshooting.
Good technical background regarding Talo clarifier operation.
Excellent safety culture.
