The Intern provides day-to-day administrative and coordination support to the Sustainability and Compliance department, assisting with certification record-keeping, audit preparation, health and safety monitoring, training coordination, and supplier and packaging compliance documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Support certification and audit activities by maintaining certification records and trackers, preparing audit evidence and filing relevant documents.
Support Health, Safety and Environmental activities through PPE inspections and stock management, waste and pest control coordination, and routine workplace and hygiene compliance inspections.
Coordinate training logistics and maintain training attendance records.
Maintain packaging and labelling compliance records, including artwork versions and SKU changes.
Support compliance data entry, document uploads, filing, and record management.
Provide general administrative support to the Compliance Officer and Global Certifications & Compliance Manager.
Perform other duties as assigned to support business operations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Food Science and Technology
Strong documentation and record-keeping skills
Good communication and organisational skills
High attention to detail and ability to follow up on actions
Previous attachment in a food manufacturing environment or exposure to ISO/FSSC 22000, HACCP, GMP or other food safety systems is an added advantage.
