Supply Chain Management (scm) Intern

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with Bid administrative related activities
• Assist Contract management and administration
• Assist with issuing of purchase orders
• Compile RFQ using correct template
• Assist with Evaluation and communicating with the end user
• Assist with circulation of evaluation reports for signing/approval
• Identify and follow up with the suppliers for long outstanding order

Key Requirements:

Qualification:

• NQF Level 6, Supply Chain Management, Finance or related qualification

Experience:

• MS Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)

Knowledge:

• Knowledge of Public Sector SCM, NT regulations,
• National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD)
• Knowledge in Supply Chain Management, Logistics and Purchasing Management
• Knowledge in Demand Management

Additional Notes:

• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
• Ability to analyse problems and manage for better solutions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
