Duties and responsibilities at this level will involve undertaking market research, surveys and analyses; implementing procurement plans and processing purchase requisitions; participating in sourcing, supplier evaluation/rating, inviting offers, negotiations and contracting; drafting of procurement and disposal plans and budgets; drafting bid awards and tender advertisement notices; drafting letters of notification after the tender evaluation; preparing minutes for tender opening exercise and submit to tender evaluation committee; identifying demand, planning and procurement of the items required by the user department; conducting inspection and verification of the items received by the relevant committee; verifying payment documents for goods, works and services delivered/rendered to the College by suppliers and other service providers; and updating contract details in government portals and College websites.
