Identify and acquire Kenyan manufacturers, brands, distributors, wholesalers, SMEs, and sellers.
Build a strong local supplier database across priority categories.
Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, commissions, supply arrangements, and promotional support.
Support seller onboarding, documentation, account setup, product listing, and marketplace training.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Sales, Marketing, or related field. 2. 4+ years of experience in supplier acquisition, business development, procurement, marketplace operations, or key account management.
Strong knowledge of Kenyan manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers, brands, and SME supplier networks.
Experience in e-commerce, retail, FMCG,
Work closely with category, warehouse, logistics, and marketing teams to grow local seller performance. electronics, fashion, beauty, household goods, or general trade is preferred.
Strong negotiation and commercial skills.
Develop seller growth plans, including promotions, assortment expansion, and pricing improvements.
Prepare regular reports on seller acquisition, active seller growth, sales performance, and local sourcing progress.
Excellent communication, networking, and relationship management ability.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to track seller performance, pricing, and category opportunities.
