Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations and service delivery.
  • Supervise staff and ensure assigned duties are completed effectively.
  • Coordinate guest arrivals, check-ins, check-outs and activities.
  • Ensure guest houses, common areas and grounds meet required standards.
  • Handle guest concerns and ensure timely resolution.
  • Monitor housekeeping and general property upkeep.
  • Monitor maintenance issues and coordinate timely reporting.
  • Manage stock, assets and operational supplies.
  • Verify deliveries and maintain accurate stock records.
  • Oversee the Tandala shop, including stock and sales records.
  • Supervise candle production and ensure quality standards are maintained.
  • Monitor production materials, usage and wastage.
  • Monitor cash and M-Pesa transactions and ensure proper records.
  • Coordinate operational procurement and cost control.
  • Ensure proper waste segregation and recycling.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly operational reports.
  • Support management in improving efficiency and service standards.

Skills & Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Hospitality, Business Management, Operations or a related field.
  • At least 3 years' experience in hospitality, hotel, estate or similar operations.
  • Strong leadership, organisation and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accountability.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple operational areas.
