Key Responsibilities Take full accountability for stock received, stored and issued on site. Receive supplier deliveries and check quantities and condition against purchase orders and delivery notes. Accurately book stock in and out. Issue stock to subcontractors and ensure all movements are properly recorded. Maintain accurate stock records and supporting documentation. Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile variances. Investigate stock discrepancies and take corrective action where required. Monitor stock levels together with the Procurement Manager. Keep the stock yard organized, clean and secure. Ensure stock procedures are consistently followed. Work with the Creditors Department regarding stock returns to suppliers. Coordinate and oversee tasks assigned to stock-yard staff. Identify opportunities to improve stock-yard processes and controls. Assist subcontractors when materials are required. Be available to start earlier on certain days when subcontractor requirements or site demands require it. Assist with ad hoc operational duties as required. Minimum Requirements Matric / Grade 12. Previous stores, stock-control, warehouse or construction-site stores experience strongly preferred. Valid driver's license. Own reliable transport. Good Microsoft Excel skills. Strong MS Office ability. Strong administrative and record-keeping skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Good time-management skills. Able to meet deadlines. Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English , written and spoken. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Working Conditions Fixed-term contract. Site-based in Langebaan. Reports into the site team. Additional or earlier working hours may occasionally be required to support subcontractors or peak site activity.
