The State Inventory Officer is responsible for managing the inventory of POS devices across the region, ensuring accurate tracking, secure storage, and efficient distribution.
This role plays a critical part in operational success by validating serial numbers, monitoring stock levels, resolving inventory discrepancies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain seamless supply chain execution.
Responsibilities
Inventory Management: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of POS devices, including stock levels, locations, and serial numbers; monitor inventory to identify stock shortages and coordinate timely replenishment; conduct regular stock counts and audits to reconcile physical stock with logical inventory.
Serial Validation: Verify serial number accuracy for all received POS devices against corresponding records, promptly communicate discrepancies to relevant stakeholders, execute corrective actions, and maintain detailed documentation.
Discrepancy Management: Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical and logical inventory, implementing corrective measures to prevent future errors and improve overall accuracy.
Collaboration & Communication: Partner with procurement, sales, and warehouse teams to optimize inventory operations and communicate inventory status, availability, and concerns effectively with internal stakeholders.
Additional Duties: Perform additional operational tasks as delegated and assigned by the State Coordinator.

Experience & Background
OND / HND or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Proven, similar experience in inventory management or related operational roles.
