Responsibilities
Analyse operational activities to identify compliance risks and ensure adherence to tax legislation and internal policies
Prepare and review tax returns, computations, regulatory submissions, and management reports
Advise business units on tax implications of products, transactions, and operational activities
Liaise with tax authorities, auditors, and external stakeholders on tax matters
Identify opportunities for efficiency through process optimisation, automation, and data analytics
Provide training to Business, Finance, and other stakeholders on tax technical mattersQualificationsEducation
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Commerce, or Statistics
Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) are an added advantageExperience
Minimum 4–5 years’ experience in tax compliance, risk management, audits, and advisory within Banking/Financial Services
Working knowledge (adsbygoogle=window.adsbygoogle||[]).push({});of SAP, Finacle, and Microsoft Office (advanced Excel)
Experience leveraging automation and data analytics tools to streamline processes and enhance reporting
