Specialist Financial Accountant

• An established business is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join its finance team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, managing general ledger transactions and overseeing accounts payable and receivable functions. The role will also involve conducting financial audits, assisting with budgets and forecasts, ensuring tax and regulatory compliance, and supporting internal departments with financial information and analysis. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field, together with a CA(SA) or CIMA professional qualification. A minimum of 3 - 5 years' experience in financial reporting or a similar role is required. Candidates should have experience preparing financial reports, strong Microsoft Excel and accounting software skills, and a sound understanding of financial regulations and compliance. Experience in asset management or financial services will be advantageous.
