About the Role
Venus Ultra is seeking experienced Sonographers to join its Specialist Locum Panel at its diagnostic centre in Lekki, Lagos.
The ideal candidates will have strong competency in obstetric ultrasound and 3D/4D fetal imaging, excellent image optimisation skills, and a professional, patient-focused approach.
This opportunity offers flexible, pre-scheduled clinic days without a full-time commitment, with the possibility of recurring shifts.
Key Responsibilities
Perform obstetric ultrasound examinations, including 3D/4D fetal scans.
Produce high-quality diagnostic images through effective image optimisation.
Ensure patients are comfortable and informed throughout scanning procedures.
Maintain accurate patient records and scan documentation.
Operate ultrasound equipment safely and professionally.
Maintain high standards of patient care, confidentiality, and professional conduct.
Requirements
Must be registered with the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN).
Must have completed the relevant educational and professional training.
Must have completed NYSC or possess a valid exemption.
Demonstrable experience performing 3D/4D ultrasound scans.
Strong competency in obstetric ultrasound and fetal imaging.
Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care.
Must be reliable and available for pre-scheduled locum shifts.
What We Offer
Flexible working arrangements with no full-time commitment.
Daily rate of 35,000 – 40,000, negotiable based on experience and competency.
