Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled, professional, and customer-focused Spa Therapist to provide high-quality spa and wellness treatments to clients.
The ideal candidate should have excellent massage and skincare skills, a friendly personality, and a strong commitment to client satisfaction, hygiene, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Provide professional spa treatments, including body massages, facials, body scrubs, body wraps, and other wellness services within the therapist’s training and qualifications.
Consult with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and any relevant health concerns before treatments.
Recommend suitable treatments and skincare products based on clients’ needs.
Maintain a clean, hygienic, and relaxing treatment environment.
Prepare treatment rooms, equipment, towels, and products before each appointment.
Ensure all spa equipment and tools are properly cleaned, sanitized, and maintained.
Handle client bookings and manage appointment schedules efficiently.
Maintain professional boundaries, client confidentiality, and high standards of customer service.
Educate clients on aftercare and appropriate home-care routines.
Promote spa services, treatment packages, and retail products when appropriate.
Monitor inventory and report low stock or damaged equipment to management.
Follow all spa policies, health and safety procedures, and hygiene standards.
Handle client feedback and complaints professionally, referring complex issues to the manager.
Work collaboratively with other spa staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications and Requirements
Relevant certification or training in spa therapy, massage therapy, beauty therapy, or a related field.
Previous experience in a spa, wellness centre, hotel, or beauty establishment is an advantage.
Good knowledge of massage techniques, skincare treatments, and spa procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong customer service skills and attention to detail.
Good personal hygiene, grooming, and professional presentation.
Ability to maintain client confidentiality and professional boundaries.
Good time management and organizational skills.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays, when required.
Willingness to learn new techniques and participate in training.
