Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled, professional, and customer-focused Spa Therapist and Masseuse to join our wellness team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality massage treatments, spa therapies, and body treatments to promote relaxation, stress relief, and overall client well-being.
The ideal candidate should have excellent massage techniques, strong communication skills, a passion for wellness, and the ability to create a relaxing, hygienic, and welcoming environment for clients.
Key Responsibilities
Provide professional massage treatments, including Swedish, deep tissue, aromatherapy, hot stone, and relaxation massage, according to training and qualifications.
Perform spa treatments such as body scrubs, body wraps, and other wellness therapies offered by the spa.
Consult with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and treatment expectations.
Assess client comfort levels and identify any contraindications before treatments.
Recommend suitable treatments and appropriate spa packages based on clients’ needs.
Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and sanitation in treatment rooms, equipment, towels, and spa facilities.
Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all products, oils, and equipment are ready for use.
Maintain professional boundaries, client confidentiality, and respectful communication at all times.
Provide excellent customer service to ensure a comfortable and satisfying client experience.
Educate clients on aftercare, relaxation techniques, and general wellness practices within the therapist’s scope of practice.
Monitor and replenish spa supplies and report any damaged equipment or shortages.
Keep accurate records of treatments provided and client preferences, in line with company policies.
Follow all spa policies, health and safety procedures, and professional standards.
Support the spa team in meeting service quality, customer satisfaction, and business goals.

Qualifications and Requirements
Relevant training or certification in massage therapy, spa therapy, beauty therapy, or a related field.
Previous experience working in a spa, wellness centre, hotel, or similar establishment is an advantage.
Good knowledge of massage techniques, spa treatments, and client care.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to hygiene and professionalism.
Ability to maintain client confidentiality and appropriate professional boundaries.
Good time management skills and the ability to manage appointments effectively.
Friendly, patient, trustworthy, and customer-oriented personality.
Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
