Responsibilities The ideal candidate will be effective in the following:
Kitchen Supervision: Oversee kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
Hands-on expertise:Possess the necessary knowledge to work specific kitchen stations, cover for absent staff, or help prep and plate dishes.
Food Quality and Safety Control: Inspect food for taste, temperature, and presentation before it leaves the kitchen, while enforcing health and sanitation rules.
Operations and Inventory: Manage food stock, place ingredient orders, and track waste.
Staff Training: Mentor junior kitchen team members.
Executive Support: Act as the main stand-in for the Head Chef when they are off-duty or busy with othertasks.
