Social Media Manager

Key responsibilities

• Plan and run a monthly content calendar across all SyncedCancer platforms.
• Create, edit and post videos, carousels, graphics and captions on cancer awareness and prevention.
• Turn approved scripts into engaging short-form videos for TikTok shorts, reels and carousels.
• Respond to comments and messages promptly and professionally.
• Ensure all health information is accurate and approved before posting.
• Promote awareness campaigns, school programmes and events.
• Track growth, reach and engagement, and submit a monthly performance report.
• Stay current on trends and adapt them for cancer education.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience managing social media for a brand, business or organization, especially a health-based NGO.
• Strong skills in video editing and design tools such as CapCut, Canva or similar.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Good understanding of TikTok, Instagram and Facebook algorithms and analytics.
• Interest in health, cancer awareness or community development.
• Reliable smartphone and internet access.
• Background in health sciences, communication or media is an advantage.
