Social Media & Communications Officer At Gap Recruitment Services Limited

What you'll do

• Plan and produce content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube, including shooting and editing short video at our client's branches.
• Grow the channels deliberately, not incidentally: test formats, read the numbers, do more of what works.
• Manage comments and DMs, answer or route enquiries from prospective students and candidates, and log every lead properly.
• Tell candidates' stories: successful placements, exam successes, and the different pathways people take to get there.
• Write announcements, newsletters, partner-facing updates and website copy.
• Support employer and institutional communication abroad alongside the Managing Director.
• Report monthly on reach, engagement and enquiries generated.

What our client is really looking for

A track record of building an audience. If you've grown and managed an Instagram or TikTok account past 25,000 followers, your own or on behalf of a brand, we want to talk to you. Tell us which account, where it stood when you took it on, and what you did to grow it.

Also needed

• Strong written English
• Ability to produce and edit short-form video yourself (CapCut or equivalent)
• Solid photography skills
• Sound judgment handling public complaints and sensitive candidate information
• Educational background in Mass Media, Communication, Journalism, Fine Art or a related field

Nice to have

• Proficiency in German
• Experience in education, recruitment or migration
• Paid social (Meta Ads) experience
