Requirements: Grade 12 / Matric. Relevant rigging qualification or certification. Minimum 5 years' experience in rigging, lifting operations, or industrial installations. Previous supervisory or management experience. Experience in signage installation, construction, steel structures, or a related industry will be advantageous. Sound knowledge of rigging equipment, lifting techniques, load capacities, and working-at-heights safety. Ability to interpret technical drawings and installation plans. Valid driver's licence. Responsibilities: Manage and supervise rigging teams and installation crews. Plan and coordinate lifting operations and signage installations. Oversee the safe installation of billboards, pylon signs, rooftop signage, and large-format advertising structures. Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety requirements. Inspect and maintain rigging equipment and lifting accessories. Coordinate resources, equipment, crane hire, and project schedules. Conduct risk assessments and ensure that required safety documentation is in place. Monitor project progress, quality, productivity, and deadlines. Liaise with project managers, clients, contractors, and installation teams. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent planning and organisational abilities. Strong technical knowledge of rigging and lifting operations. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. High attention to detail and a strong safety-conscious approach.
