Requirements Matric / Grade 12. Previous experience in signage, printing, manufacturing or a technical materials environment is advantageous. Good knowledge of signage materials and their applications, including how different materials perform in various environments. Strong administrative and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail. Ability to interpret job cards, specifications and project requirements accurately. Experience working with Project Managers, production teams or internal departments. Good computer skills, including MS Office and internal job management systems. Ability to manage multiple job cards and priorities simultaneously. Strong communication, problem-solving and time-management skills. A methodical approach to work, with a focus on accuracy and meeting deadlines. Duties Review incoming orders and job cards to determine the correct materials required for each signage project. Match materials to specific signage applications, taking into consideration suitability, performance and project specifications. Liaise with Project Managers to clarify material requirements and resolve technical queries. Ensure all material selections are accurately recorded against the relevant job cards. Verify that material specifications align with customer requirements and production needs. Coordinate with purchasing, stores and production teams to confirm material availability. Identify potential material issues or discrepancies before jobs proceed to production. Maintain accurate records of material selections, specifications and job-related information. Track multiple job cards simultaneously, ensuring all material requirements are addressed within required timeframes. Communicate material changes, shortages or potential delays to the relevant stakeholders. Provide administrative support to ensure the smooth coordination of signage projects from order stage through to production. Assist with resolving material-related queries and identifying suitable alternatives where necessary.
