Job Title: SHEQ / Distribution Officer
Locations: Kaduna and Port Harcourt - Rivers Employment Type: Full-time
Job Description
The SHEQ and Distribution Officer will support the implementation of quality assurance and safety, health. environment and quality systems by ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining product and process quality, promoting safe operations, and driving continuous improvement across plant and distribution activities.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Carry out quality control functions on the company’s raw materials, processes, and Finished products.
Ensuring that all raw materials, processes and final products meet the required specification.
Support the company to maintain the quality systems (FSSC 22000 and QMS 9001) and customer quality requirements.
Ensure that quality assurance functions (Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Good Distribution Practice (GDP), Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) & Quality Control) is maintained for all productions.
Ensure that water use on site meets required standard.
Ensure compliance with SHEQ standards and regulatory requirements through inspections, risk assessments, and incident management.
Monitor plant operations to drive operational efficiency and continuous SHEQ improvement.
Coordinate safety training, emergency preparedness, and corrective actions.
Support the SHEQ Department to achieve the company SHEQ targets and Objectives.
Qualifications and Experience
BSc / HND Degree in Industrial Chemistry, Science Lab Tech, Chemical Engineering and other Chemistry/Applied Science Courses.
2 - 3 years relevant working experience.
Completed NYSC scheme.
The ideal candidate must be a Nigerian Citizen.
Age 27- 32 years.
High knowledge of computer literacy (Excel, PowerPoint, Words etc).
Good knowledge of management system and regulatory compliance (ISO 9001, FSSC 22000 and NEBOSH IGC trainings are required).
Must be willing to travel to other IMG sites on short notice.
Strong communication (oral and written), interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
