Tasks
Lead daily maintenance to keep guest areas, plant, and infrastructure reliable.
Plan and execute preventive maintenance routines to reduce breakdowns.
Brief, coach, and allocate technicians; maintain an organized workshop.
Respond quickly to job requests, especially guestfacing faults, with clear followthrough.
Ensure power, water, and backup systems remain available around the clock.
Coordinate with other departments to minimize disruption to guests.
Protect tools, stock, and company property; maintain accurate records and reporting.
Enforce safety, hygiene, and professional presence in guest areas.Requirements
Requirements
Minimum 3 years’ experience in hotel, lodge, or safari camp maintenance.
At least 1 year supervising technicians.
Proven ability to run full maintenance shifts and preventive plans.
Handson skills in electrical, plumbing, and general building/plant maintenance, including generators.
Fluent English, spoken and written.
Willingness to live in camp, (adsbygoogle=window.adsbygoogle||[]).push({});work rotating shifts (including weekends, public holidays, and callouts), and follow rotational leave.
Calm under pressure, guestfirst, and reliable on standards, safety, and integrity.
Advantageous: safari camp or luxury lodge experience; solar/PV systems; vehicle maintenance; relevant trade certificate or diploma.Benefits
