Sessional Sonographer

Requirements :

• National Senior Certificate/Matric grade 12 plus Minimum of 4 years Degree in Ultrasound or 2 years B-tech in Ultrasound that allows a registration HPCSA as an independent Sonographer.
• Proof of current registration with HPSCA. Sound knowledge of musculoskeletal and general ultrasound. Quality assessment procedures, methods and basic knowledge of public service acts, HR and other relevant policies

Duties :

• Provide high quality service, utilize and maintain equipment to ensure patient safety while adhering to professional prescripts. Compile reports and monthly statistics. Knowledge of performance management system (PMDS).
• Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement programs and ideal hospital realization framework. Provide information and support to Doctors on Patients Ultrasound diagnosis/reports. Promote Batho Pele Principles in execution of all duties and effective service delivery. Ensure that all Health and Safety rules and regulations are adhered to
