Senior Underwriter Ãâ¢ã‚â€ã‚â“ Corporate & Commercial Lines At Sanlam Kenya

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our Corporate & Commercial Lines department. The successful candidate will select risks in alignment with Sanlam Allianz's underwriting guidelines, process premiums accurately within the underwriting system, and issue policy documents within agreed benchmarks while actively supporting business retention and strengthening channel-partner relationships.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Insurance or a business course.
• ACII/IIK qualification.
• Bring 5 to 8+ years of progressive underwriting or reinsurance experience in general insurance, supported by a proven track record of handling complex, large-value accounts.
• Strong product and market knowledge alongside a solid understanding of regulatory compliance.
• Advanced risk assessment, analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
• High attention to detail, sound decision-making capabilities, and excellent relationship management skills.
