Job Description

What you will do in this role:

• Provide technical support for laboratory service delivery at the state level.
• Conduct routine supportive supervision and mentoring on laboratory testing protocols.
• Support facility laboratories in quality management system implementation.
• Support laboratory data use for program monitoring and quality improvement.
• Deliver against the approved GHSD milestone plan and quarterly performance targets, integrating services across the HIV, TB, malaria, and MNCH platform and progressively transferring functions to Government of Nigeria ownership.
• Assist in building the capacity of laboratory personnel.

Minimum recruitment standard

Qualifications and experience we look for:

• A first degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in laboratory services, with experience on USG-funded projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory testing protocols and quality assurance.
• Strong supervisory and mentoring skills.
