Duties and Responsibilities
Manage staff
- Manage KPI's of team members
- Maintain discipline of team (Execute company disciplinary procedures)
- Plan and manage leave
- Coordinate training and development of subordinates
- Control and address Driver violations as per On Board Computer (OBC) report
Coordinate the distribution process (into area of responsibility)
- Ensure optimally utilized routes through nominated delivery days
- Do daily debriefing of delivery team
- Maintain and manage ledger deadlines
- Investigate rejected Driver claims
- Control departmental own fixed cost in terms of overtime, running cost and crates
Manage customer relations
- Conduct trade visits and submit reports
- Manage and control customer uplifts
- Attend to customer queries and complaints
- Manage site and area responsibility in terms of safety
