Job Title: Senior Structural Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineerwith strong hands-on experience in the analysis, design and detailing of residential, commercial, industrial, multistorey and high-rise buildings.
The ideal candidate must have practical structural design experience and the ability to independently handle structural calculations, foundation design, reinforced concrete and steel structures.
Key Responsibilities
Perform structural analysis, modelling and design for buildings and high-rise structures.
iDesign foundations, beams, columns, slabs, shear walls and steel structures.
Prepare structural drawings, design calculations, specifications and technical reports.
Review structural designs for safety, stability and compliance with applicable standards.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, quantity surveyors and construction teams.
Provide technical support during construction and resolve structural design issues.
Ensure structural designs meet applicable engineering standards and quality requirements.
Requirements
B.Sc. in Civil, Buildingor Structural Engineering.
Minimum of 10years' relevant experiencein structural engineering and building design.
COREN registration is required.NSE membership is an added advantage.
Proven experience in reinforced concrete, structural steel and foundation design.
Experience with multistorey buildings; direct high-rise design experience is strongly preferred.
Proficiency in ETABS, SAFE, STAAD.Pro, Autodesk Robot or equivalent structural design software.
Good knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit or other structural drafting/BIM tools.
Knowledge of applicable Nigerian building requirements, BS, Eurocode or ACI standards.
Location: Delta but will required to travel to different project sites
Mandatory Project Experience: Applicants must provide details of at least three building projects they have personally worked on, indicating:
Project name and location.
Building type and number of floors.
Structural and foundation systems used.
Specific design responsibilities personally undertaken.
Supporting evidence or employer/client references where available
