Key Responsibilities
Project Execution & Delivery
End-to-End responsibility for site construction & execution for utility-scale and Ground mounted solar projects.
Manage daily site activities at ICR, Switch Yard, DC field with regard to civil & electrical both.
Supervise engineers, supervisors, technicians, and workers & capable enough to give training to internal & contractor team about installation of solar projects.
Ensure work is completed as per drawings and project specifications.
Plan manpower, materials, tools, and equipment.
Monitor project schedule and achieve project milestones.
Ensure all safety (HSE) rules are followed.
Check installation quality of modules, MMS, inverters, transformers, cables, and earthing.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and subcontractors.
Conduct daily progress meetings and prepare site reports.
Solve site issues and reduce project delays & high light to management.
Support testing, commissioning, and project handover including documentation & HOTO.
Maintain site documents, inspection records, and quality reports.
Provide regular progress reports and updates to senior management.
Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and toolbox talks.
Qualifications & Skills
Diploma or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil engineering.
8 - 12 years of experience in solar PV construction, with at least 5 years in a site management role.
Proven track record in managing utility-scale ground mount solar projects.
Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, civil works, and electrical installations.
Strong knowledge of PR testing methodologies and commissioning processes.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Familiarity with project management tools and MS Office Suite.
Location & Travel
Based on project site(s); frequent travel to multiple locations may be required.
Willingness to work in remote areas and adapt to site conditions.
