The successful candidate will take ownership of key platform components, working closely with Product and Design teams to develop robust customer-facing solutions. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality software, improving system performance, and helping shape the technical direction of a growing platform. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain features across Ruby on Rails applications. Lead complex development initiatives from planning through deployment. Collaborate with Product and Design teams to deliver intuitive and scalable customer experiences. Build and maintain APIs and third-party integrations. Improve application performance, scalability, and reliability. Design and optimise data models for high-volume transactional environments. Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code. Contribute to infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and developer tooling. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while addressing root causes. Support the adoption and effective use of AI-assisted development practices. Mentor developers and contribute to engineering excellence across the team. Job Experience and Skills Required Relevant qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. 6+ years of professional software development experience. Extensive experience with Ruby on Rails in production environments. Proven experience building scalable, customer-facing applications. Experience designing and maintaining APIs and integrations.
