Role Description

  • The Senior Relationship Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Lagos, responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of high-value individual and SME customers.

Qualifications

  • Strong relationship management, customer service, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trust and long-term partnerships.
  • Experience in business development, sales, and portfolio growth within banking or financial services, particularly with SME and retail clients.
  • Solid understanding of credit analysis, risk assessment, and financial products (loans, investments, payments), with the ability to interpret financial statements.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, including the ability to explain complex financial solutions clearly.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in basic office and digital productivity tools; familiarity with core banking or CRM systems is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated commitment to integrity, customer-centricity, and high performance in a regulated environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline; professional certifications in banking or credit are an added advantage.
  • Previous experience in a Relationship Manager or similar client-facing role in a bank or financial institution, preferably at a senior level.
